Quote management system

With the know-how of cargo-shipping experts, we developed a workflow system to manage cargo-shipping quotes, that would manage the entire process, from the point the client made the request to adding the instance easily to the system and tracking the progress.

THE CHALLENGE

The goal was to speed up and record more effectively the cargo booking progress. It was key to be able to monitor the progress of the instances with a visual flow. Another aspect of it was to create an inbox and an easy way for agents to grab the information from emails and add them as instances to the system.

MY ROLE

I researched, proposed and designed the workflow system that would allow Freight Forwarders to search for cargo shipping rates worldwide and secure a booking with us.

Outcomes

With a wealth of airlines, this is one of the most modern and robust systems in the aviation industry. The new workflow increased the speed of response and efficiency which meant an increase in revenue and reduced lost bookings.
